relaxing, premium ocean fishing experience for Salmon, Tuna, Halibut ,

Crabbing and near shore bottom fishing.

The Ambush is a 43 ft. Delta that is not only big and fast, it is extremely

comfortable and uncrowded.  We limit the number of anglers to 6 per

charter trip assuring you of a premium fishing experience whether its a near

shore bottom fishing trip or we are charter fishing chasing albacore.

Raised on the Oregon coast your hosts and captain, Dick & Peggy Pickett

have been fishing the Oregon Coast and Pacific Ocean for over 50 years.

Ambush Charters in Newport Oregon provides all the necessary equipment 

for a quality deep sea fishing experience.  From our light weight Tuna rods

to our Halibut gear, all is of excellent quality and very well maintained.

The weather on the Oregon coast can be unpredictable so we suggest you bring layered clothing and outer wear to keep you dry in case of wet conditions.

Whether we are Halibut, Salmon, Tuna, Crabbing or Bottom fishing our goal is to provide you with the best Ocean Charter deep sea  fishing experience you have ever had.
